Eligibility
As part of our growth strategy, HSBC considers customer delight and Corporate Sustainability to be synonymous with the brand and strives to work in the domain of education and environment. The HSBC Scholarships are a logical extension of HSBC's work in the area of education. The idea is to support the growth of young and promising leaders by providing scholarships that will help them gain a strong academic grounding. An inclination to contribute to the good of the community is also intended to be cultivated in students through the HSBC Scholarships.
Applicants who are India residents and under 25 years of age as on September 1, 2009 are eligible for the scholarship.
This scholarship is NOT open to individuals working in public and private sector banking and financial companies or research/ other institutions sponsored by public and private sector banks.
