  • The Cardholder must report the loss of credit card immediately. Any misuse prior to reporting the loss will be cardholder's liability.
  • Emergency Replacement card would be delivered in 3 days provided the location is serviceable by VISA.
  • The Emergency card is a temporary card.
  • This card would not have the ATM cash withdrawal facility.
  • The Cardholder must request for a permanent credit card once you are back in India.
  • Credit limit on the replaced emergency card would be equal to the remaining credit limit available on your HSBC Platinum credit card account.
  • Please call Global Customer Assistance Service (GCAS) only for Emergency Cash Advance.
  • Emergency Cash Advance (ECA) would depend on the available cash limit on your credit card.
  • If no Emergency Service Location (ESL) outlet is available, VISA will reject the request.
  • Cash Advance Fee would be applicable for Emergency Cash Advance. Please refer to the Tariff Sheet for applicable fee.
