The Cardholder must report the loss of credit card immediately. Any misuse prior to reporting the loss will be cardholder's liability.
Emergency Replacement card would be delivered in 3 days provided the location is serviceable by VISA.
The Emergency card is a temporary card.
This card would not have the ATM cash withdrawal facility.
The Cardholder must request for a permanent credit card once you are back in India.
Credit limit on the replaced emergency card would be equal to the remaining credit limit available on your HSBC Platinum credit card account.
Please call Global Customer Assistance Service (GCAS) only for Emergency Cash Advance.
Emergency Cash Advance (ECA) would depend on the available cash limit on your credit card.
If no Emergency Service Location (ESL) outlet is available, VISA will reject the request.
Cash Advance Fee would be applicable for Emergency Cash Advance. Please refer to the Tariff Sheet for applicable fee.
