Terms and Conditions - Special Offer for New Credit Cards

• This offer is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India (hereinafter referred to as 'HSBC') and any participation is voluntary. This offer is applicable to select HSBC customers who are being offered the HSBC Platinum / Gold Credit Card.
• Customers' consent will be taken for his application for an HSBC Platinum / Gold Credit Card. Relevant documents will be collected form the customer by HSBC's representatives and the card will be issued subject to these documents and on sole discretion of HSBC.
• This card will be a lifetime free card with no joining or renewal fees.
• Cardholders will be eligible for additional 5000 reward points ONLY as welcome gift after they have done purchase transactions worth Rs. 5000 on their credit card within 60 days of card issuance. Balance transfer / Cash Advance transactions will not be considered for this offer.
• Customer need to call up HSBC contact centre once the eligible purchase transaction worth Rs.5000 is done for this program and can claim their reward points.
• Issuance of credit card is at the sole discretion of HSBC.
• The customer will be eligible for the offer only when the credit card is issued. Should the credit card not be issued due to certain conditions which is at the sole discretion of HSBC, the customer will not be eligible for the 5000 reward points.
• HSBC does not make any warranties or representation about the merchantability or suitability of the reward points offered as reward under this offer.
• HSBC India will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal injury that may be suffered, as a result of participating in the offer.
• HSBC reserves the right to add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of these Terms and Conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to withdraw it altogether at any point in time without prior notice.
• The offer is subject to force majeure events.
• Tax liability, if any will be borne by the applicant.
• All conditions of the HSBC Rewards Programme shall apply.
• This offer is not applicable to Existing HSBC credit card customers.
• Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai only. The existence of a dispute, if any, shall not constitute any claim against HSBC.
