Before you use your Security Device to access your HSBC account online, you need to activate it. This is a one time activity that you will have to perform only the first time that you use your Security Device.

So log on to www.hsbc.co.in and activate the Security Device in three simple steps:
Step - 2
The 'Activate Your Online Security Device' screen appears

a. Enter the 10 digit Serial Number which is on the back of the Security Device.

b. Press the button on your Security Device and your security code appears on your security device display. Enter the 6-digit security code in the relevant field on the screen.

c. Click on the 'Activate Security Device Now' button on the bottom left of the screen.
