How to Register for Mobile Alerts |

To register for Mobile Alerts, you will first need to log in to your HSBC Internet Banking account. Once you are logged in, follow the steps detailed below to register for Mobile Alerts. Please click here if you are not an Internet Banking user and would like to register for Internet Banking. |

| Click on ‘Apply Now’ from the left navigation. |

| In this section, select ‘Apply Now SMS’. |
|
| Enter your 12 digit account number without any hyphens or spaces, e.g. 002019876006. |
|
| Enter your 10 digit mobile number without any spaces, e.g. 9820098200. |
|
| This section enables you to set alerts depending on the balance of your account. For example, to be alerted when your account balance goes below Rs. 10,000, enter "10000". |
|
| If you wish to view weekly mini statements for your account, select this option and choose a day of the week on which the alert will be sent to you. |
|
| If you wish to receive monthy mini statements for your account, select this option and choose the day of the month on which the alert will be sent to you. |
|
| If you hold HSBC Fixed Deposits and would like to be alerted before its maturity date, enter your 12 digit Fixed Deposit account number. |
|
| Select this option to be alerted 7 days before your Fixed Deposit matures. |
|
| Please click on 'Terms and Conditions' to read the applicable terms and conditions. You will need to select the box to confirm your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. |

| Click on 'Submit' to complete your registration for Mobile Alerts. | |
Your Mobile Alerts will be activated within 4 working days. You will receive a welcome SMS from HSBC upon activation. |
