Special Period Offer ? Terms and Conditions

1. This offer is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India (HSBC). This offer is available to all HSBC Customers (Customers). Any participation in the offer is voluntary.
2. The Customer will be entitled to a 50% refund on the interest component of the Customer?s 12th, 24th and 36th Equated Monthly Installments (EMI) on the Customer?s home loan (Offer).
3. To be eligible for the said refund the Customer should ensure regular repayment of all the EMIs as per the repayment schedule as mentioned in the documents executed by the Customer at the time of disbursal of the home loan. The rate of interest offered at the time of disbursal of the home loan is subject to change from time to time, which may result in change in the EMI and the resultant change in the refund amount. The Customer will have to continue paying the changed EMI from the date of intimation of such change in rate of interest to the Customer by the Bank without demur or protest, to be eligible for the said refund. The Customer will not be eligible for the said refund of interest in case of any delay in repayment of any EMI.
4. The refund amount would be credited in the savings account of the Customer with HSBC linked to the home loan account. The said refund would be credited to the linked savings account within 30 days of receipt of the 12th, 24th and 36th EMI.
5. All loans are subject to terms and conditions and are at the sole discretion of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited,India (HSBC).
   Loans available for Customers residing in and properties located in and around the city limits of Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi(NCR), Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Jaipur and are subject to change from time to time.
6. This Offer is only valid on floating rate home loans and loan against property. The Offer is not valid on Smart Home and SmartLAP.
7. This Offer is valid for all loans approved till 31 May, 2012.
8. HSBC reserves its absolute right to withdraw or alter any of the terms and conditions of the Offer at any time without prior intimation.
9. The Offer is subject to force majeure events.
10. All decisions in respect of the Offer shall be at the sole discretion of HSBC and the same shall be final, binding and non-contestable. The Customer waives any and all rights of claim with regard to the Offer against HSBC.
11. Any disputes arising out of this Offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai only. The existence of any dispute shall not, by itself, constitute any claim against HSBC.
12. By availing the Offer, you shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions herein in totality.
