Executive Banking

To be eligible for the Executive Club, Executive Banking clients must have either:

• A monthly net salary credit of at least INR1,000,000 OR
• A quarterly Total Relationship Balance of at least INR 20,000,000

Salary criteria for the Executive Club proposition is offered to customers holding a salary account with a net monthly salary credit of INR 10,00,000 (Rupees Ten lakh only) or more which includes customers holding a salary account under HSBC Employee Workplace Solutions (EWS) (see section 5). Customers who do not meet the salary criteria will need to maintain the applicable TRB eligibility criteria.

Your Total Relationship Balance (TRB) refers to the total balance you have with HSBC India on the last day of every calendar quarter, and includes:

• The average balance held in your HSBC savings or current accounts
• The average balance held in your HSBC fixed deposits
• The market value or net purchase value of your investments[@nri-trb-investments] with us (whichever is higher)
• Your life-to-date (total) paid-up life insurance[@nri-insurance-caveat] premium for policies in force
• The market value of your demat holdings in the depository account held with HSBC India
• The average quarterly available balance held in your Smart Home Drop-line Overdraft (Smart Home DLOD) or Smart LAP Drop-line Overdraft (Smart LAP DLOD) account

Your TRB will also include balances maintained by family members (spouse, partner, children up to the age of 30 years) in their HSBC Premier Accounts, if they’re defined as part of a single relationship.

5 Under the HSBC Employee Workplace Solutions (EWS) salary criteria, an employee of the corporate holding a salary account can avail of a waiver on the Total Relationship Balance (TRB) subject to the employee being a part of the corporate and the account under Employee Workplace Solutions receiving a salary credit for three consecutive calendar months. In an event the above is not being met or in case the customer ceases to be an employee of the said corporate the account shall be subject to maintenance of the required TRB criteria failing which the account shall be levied with a below balance fee towards non-maintenance of TRB.
