Activate push notifications in the HSBC India Mobile app
Push notifications help you stay informed about important account activity, services and updates in real time.
They allow us to send timely updates and alerts directly to your device, even when you are not actively using the app.
How to turn on push notifications
- Open the HSBC India Mobile Banking app
- Follow the on-screen prompts to enable push notifications
- Allow notification permission when prompted by your device
- You’ll receive push notifications based on your preferences
Where to see your notifications
Once they are enabled, you can review your push notifications in the Notification Centre in the HSBC India Mobile Banking app. Notifications will appear here as they become available, all in one place for easy reference.
If the Notification Centre shows 'No new notifications', this could mean:
- No notifications have been sent to you yet
- You have already viewed or deleted the notifications
How to manage your notification preferences
You can choose what types of notifications you receive. This allows you to stay in control of your notification experience.
- Go to Push Notification Preferences in the app settings
- Select the notification categories you want to receive
Your changes will take effect immediately.
You can turn off push notifications at any time by:
- Updating your preferences in the app
- Disabling notifications for the app in your device settings
You can turn them back on again whenever you like.
