Book early

Depending on your credit card, you may have the option of buying a BOGO ticket offer only on a Saturday. This is a popular day for making bookings and going out, so there will always be high demand for tickets – especially for popular movies or shows.

Try to book your tickets early. There may be a limit on the number of BOGO tickets available, so keep a close eye on the latest release dates and schedules.

Some credit cards, like HSBC Premier, offer BOGO ticket bookings every day of the week. Others offer discounts on live events such as concerts or sports on any day, so look out for credit card offers and try to book in advance.

Use your reward points

You can save even more if you combine your ticket purchase with reward points you've already earned.

Check how many points you have available and if you can combine the two offers at once when using a movie ticket offer on a credit card.

Some credit cards may offer a discount on a second ticket. Others may have special offers on additional tickets. Take some time to check the terms and conditions and special offers and make the most of these.

Look for dining offers

You may also be eligible for special dining offers, depending on your credit card. This can make your night out even more enjoyable, especially if you can save money.

Most credit card providers partner with restaurants and cafes to offer a discount if you pay with your credit card. Study the credit card features and benefits and see if you can combine dinner at a top-rated restaurant with a show to make it a memorable evening.
