How to set up SimplyPay
- Make sure you're using mobile data not Wi-Fi and open the app
- Enter your mobile number so we can verify your contact details and fetch any accounts registered with it
- If you're on iOS, generate a one-time passcode to confirm to verify it’s really you
- Add your name and email address, set your security question and answer, then accept the T&Cs
- Select the bank with which you hold the account you want to link
- Confirm the account you want to link
- Create a UPI ID for the account using the format xxx@bankname, or choose one of the suggestions. This lets you send and collect money without sharing your account credentials
- Set and confirm your UPI PIN. You'll use this to approve all UPI transactions from this account
- Set your App password - and you're done
How to link a bank account to SimplyPay
- Select 'My Account' from the menu
- Select 'Add account'
- Select the bank where you hold the account
- Send an SMS to validate your mobile number with the bank. Once they verify your identity, your account will appear in the list
- Select the account you want to link to SimplyPay
- Create a UPI ID for the account using the format xxx@bankname, or choose one of the suggestions. This lets you send and collect money without sharing your account credentials
- Finally, set and confirm your UPI PIN. You'll use this to approve all UPI transactions from this account
How to add a UPI ID to a bank account or RuPay credit card
- Select ‘My Account’ from the menu
- Choose the bank account or RuPay credit card that you want to manage
- Select ‘Manage UPI IDs’
- Select ‘Add UPI ID’
- Create a UPI ID for the account or card using the format xxx@bankname, or choose one of the suggestions. This lets you send and collect money without sharing your account credentials. You can use up to 3 different UPI IDs in your SimplyPay app, or link to an existing UPI ID.
- Confirm with 'Add UPI ID'
How to set up a UPI number
- Select ‘My Account’ from the menu
- Choose the bank account that you want to manage
- Select ‘Manage UPI number’
- Select whether you'd like to use your mobile number or create a unique number
- If you're creating a unique number, it should be 8 or 9 digits
- Lastly, confirm your UPI number

How to reset your SimplyPay password
- On the log on screen, select 'Forgot password'
- Next, enter and confirm your new password
- Answer your security question to confirm it's you
- Select 'Reset password' and log on

- On the Forgot log on password screen, select 'Forgot security answer'
- Next, enter your mobile number and address and select 'Send OTP' to receive a one-time passcode
- Enter your OTP, then select 'Continue'
- Select your security question, enter your answer, then select 'Continue'
- Enter and confirm your new password, and answer your security question
- Select 'Reset password'
How to change a UPI PIN
- Select 'My Account' from the menu
- Choose the bank account or RuPay credit card associated with the PIN you want to change
- Select 'Manage UPI PIN'
- Enter your old PIN and then your new PIN, then select 'Submit'
How to delete a UPI ID
- Select 'My Account' from the menu
- Choose the bank account or RuPay credit card that you want to manage
- Select 'Manage UPI IDs'
- Go the ID you want to remove and select 'Delete'

- Select 'My Account' from the menu
- Choose the bank account or RuPay credit card that you want to manage
- Select 'Remove account'
- Confirm you want to remove the account. It will also remove all associated UPI IDs
How to check an account balance
- Select 'My Account' from the menu
- Choose the account you want to check
- Select 'Account balance'
- Enter your UPI PIN for the account to see your balance
How to view transactions and raise a dispute
- Select 'Transaction history' from the menu
- Choose the transaction you want to check
- Select 'Raise a complaint' if you have an issue
- Choose the type of complaint, add any additional information you think will help, then select 'Continue'
How to set your daily transfer limit
- Select 'My Account' from the menu
- Choose the account you want to manage from the list
- Choose 'Set account limit'
- Enter the desired amount, and select 'Set limit'
