How to set up SimplyPay

  1. Make sure you're using mobile data not Wi-Fi and open the app
  2. Enter your mobile number so we can verify your contact details and fetch any accounts registered with it
  3. If you're on iOS, generate a one-time passcode to confirm to verify it’s really you
  4. Add your name and email address, set your security question and answer, then accept the T&Cs
  5. Select the bank with which you hold the account you want to link
  6. Confirm the account you want to link
  7. Create a UPI ID for the account using the format xxx@bankname, or choose one of the suggestions. This lets you send and collect money without sharing your account credentials
  8. Set and confirm your UPI PIN. You'll use this to approve all UPI transactions from this account
  9. Set your App password - and you're done

How to link a bank account to SimplyPay

  1. Select 'My Account' from the menu
  2. Select 'Add account'
  3. Select the bank where you hold the account
  4. Send an SMS to validate your mobile number with the bank. Once they verify your identity, your account will appear in the list
  5. Select the account you want to link to SimplyPay
  6. Create a UPI ID for the account using the format xxx@bankname, or choose one of the suggestions. This lets you send and collect money without sharing your account credentials
  7. Finally, set and confirm your UPI PIN. You'll use this to approve all UPI transactions from this account

How to add a UPI ID to a bank account or RuPay credit card

  1. Select ‘My Account’ from the menu
  2. Choose the bank account or RuPay credit card that you want to manage
  3. Select ‘Manage UPI IDs’
  4. Select ‘Add UPI ID’
  5. Create a UPI ID for the account or card using the format xxx@bankname, or choose one of the suggestions. This lets you send and collect money without sharing your account credentials. You can use up to 3 different UPI IDs in your SimplyPay app, or link to an existing UPI ID.
  6. Confirm with 'Add UPI ID'

How to set up a UPI number

  1. Select ‘My Account’ from the menu
  2. Choose the bank account that you want to manage
  3. Select ‘Manage UPI number’
  4. Select whether you'd like to use your mobile number or create a unique number
  5. If you're creating a unique number, it should be 8 or 9 digits
  6. Lastly, confirm your UPI number

How to reset your SimplyPay password

  1. On the log on screen, select 'Forgot password'
  2. Next, enter and confirm your new password
  3. Answer your security question to confirm it's you
  4. Select 'Reset password' and log on

How to reset your SimplyPay security question

  1. On the Forgot log on password screen, select 'Forgot security answer'
  2. Next, enter your mobile number and address and select 'Send OTP' to receive a one-time passcode
  3. Enter your OTP, then select 'Continue'
  4. Select your security question, enter your answer, then select 'Continue'
  5. Enter and confirm your new password, and answer your security question
  6. Select 'Reset password'

How to change a UPI PIN

  1. Select 'My Account' from the menu
  2. Choose the bank account or RuPay credit card associated with the PIN you want to change
  3. Select 'Manage UPI PIN'
  4. Enter your old PIN and then your new PIN, then select 'Submit'

How to delete a UPI ID

  1. Select 'My Account' from the menu
  2. Choose the bank account or RuPay credit card that you want to manage
  3. Select 'Manage UPI IDs'
  4. Go the ID you want to remove and select 'Delete'

How to delete a bank account or RuPay credit card from SimplyPay

  1. Select 'My Account' from the menu
  2. Choose the bank account or RuPay credit card that you want to manage
  3. Select 'Remove account'
  4. Confirm you want to remove the account. It will also remove all associated UPI IDs

How to check an account balance

  1. Select 'My Account' from the menu
  2. Choose the account you want to check
  3. Select 'Account balance'
  4. Enter your UPI PIN for the account to see your balance

How to view transactions and raise a dispute

  1. Select 'Transaction history' from the menu
  2. Choose the transaction you want to check
  3. Select 'Raise a complaint' if you have an issue
  4. Choose the type of complaint, add any additional information you think will help, then select 'Continue'

How to set your daily transfer limit

  1. Select 'My Account' from the menu
  2. Choose the account you want to manage from the list
  3. Choose 'Set account limit'
  4. Enter the desired amount, and select 'Set limit'
