How to send money to a contact

  1. Select 'Pay to mobile'
  2. Select the person you want to pay from the contact list
  3. Select 'Pay'
  4. Enter the amount, and add a note if you wish
  5. Choose the account to debit and select 'Pay'
  6. Enter your UPI PIN to confirm

How to send money to a UPI ID or UPI number

  1. Select 'Pay to UPI ID'
  2. Enter the UP ID or UPI number for the person you want to pay
  3. Select 'Continue'
  4. Check it's the right person, then select 'Pay'
  5. Enter the amount, and add a note if you wish
  6. Choose the account to debit and select 'Pay'
  7. Enter your UPI PIN to confirm

How to send money to a bank account

  1. Select 'Bank transfer'
  2. Enter the account number, IFSC code and recipient name. If it's someone you've paid recently, just select the previous transfer
  3. Select 'Continue'
  4. Enter the amount, and add a note if you wish
  5. Choose the account to debit and select 'Pay'
  6. Enter your UPI PIN to confirm

How to transfer money between your accounts

  1. Select 'Self transfer'
  2. Choose which of your bank accounts you want to send from and send. You can add them if they're not listed
  3. Select 'Continue'
  4. Enter the amount, and add a note if you wish
  5. Choose the account to debit and select 'Pay'
  6. Enter your UPI PIN to confirm

Scan and pay using UPI

  1. Select Scan and Pay
  2. Scan the QR code
  3. Choose the account to debit, add a note if you wish, and select 'Pay'
  4. Enter your UPI PIN to confirm

How to send money to a contact

  1. Select 'Pay to mobile'
  2. Select the person you want to pay from the contact list
  3. Select 'Pay'
  4. Enter the amount, and add a note if you wish
  5. Choose the account to debit and select 'Pay'
  6. Enter your UPI PIN to confirm

How to cancel a money request

  1. Select the person from the Requests section
  2. Select 'Cancel request'
  3. Select 'Cancel'
  4. If you change your mind, open the cancelled request and select 'Resend request'

How to accept a request using UPI

  1. Log on to the HSBC SimplyPay app when you get a notification
  2. Select ‘Request’ from the ‘People and business’ section on the homepage
  3. Accept or decline the request. You can also block the requester to stop any further requests
  4. Once you accept the request, please confirm the debiting account from the drop down menu and select 'Continue'
  5. Verify your details and confirm
  6. You'll get an acknowledgement when your payment is complete

How to pay your electricity bill

  1. Scroll down to the Bill payments section
  2. Select electricity bill
  3. Select your supplier or, if you've already linked it, your account
  4. To link your account, enter your consumer number and select 'Link account'
  5. View your bill and select 'Pay'
  6. Choose the account to debit, add a note if you wish, and select 'Pay'
  7. Enter your UPI PIN to confirm

How to set up a one-time mandate

  1. Select UPI mandates from main menu
  2. Select the option Create one time UPI mandate
  3. Enter the UPI ID or number of the beneficiary
  4. Fill in the details and select Create mandate

How to withdraw money from an ATM

  1. Visit any UPI-ATM enabled cash machine.
  2. Select 'Cardless cash withdrawal through QR code' on the ATM
  3. Select 'Scan & Pay' in SimplyPay to scan the QR code
  4. Proceed with the transaction
